A prominent law firm has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Brand and New Business Development Manager to join their team. We are looking for a candidate with superior communications skills and command of the English language, who is able to work well under pressure. Candidate must have proven experience in new business development, brand management and development, preferably from a professional services environment.

Minimum Requirements

Matric/Grade 12
Degree in Marketing Management
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
MS Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel (Advanced)
Highly creative with ability to think out of box
Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate, strong knowledge of marketing best practices and trends.
Proven brand and new business development experience, strong analytical skills, comfortable working with metrics, numbers and spreadsheets.
Superior interpersonal skills, experienced in building relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
Experience in professional services environment – Law Firms, Banks, Auditing Firms or similar (Preferred)

Role Description

Be responsible for Brand Development and New Business Development endeavors for the firm;
Develop and build strong brand strategies to ensure the firms position in the market, successfully implement and execute brand strategies in line with marketing strategy incl. Media strategy, events & other marketing activities;
Evaluate the creative execution and media plans in line with the relevant target audience;
Monthly reporting, Quarterly review and projections, Annual budgeting;
Be well abreast of trendsetter ideas through research;
Identify potential clients, and relevant stakeholders and decision makers within that organization;
Detailed research reports, including market and customer information on new and potential clients, plan approaches and pitches with the team that are tailored to clients; taking full responsibility for the content and accuracy of these proposals;
Present the firm to potential clients through e-mails, phone and face to face meetings;
Develop a thorough understanding of client objectives and business requirements, including return on investment objectives, response to tenders and gather for information;
Keep accurate records on clients at all times - to update on a daily basis;
Provide data/reports showing follow up activity with current and prospective clients.
