Synopsis

Conveyancer required for prestigious black owned niche law firm in Sandton.


Minimum Requirements

LLB
Admitted as Attorney
Admitted as Conveyancer
3+ years experience as conveyancer and able to run a department.
Commercial Property experience will be beneficial.
EE candidates only


Role Description

 Understanding of company law will be an added advantage
 Ability to manage stakeholders (clients, attorneys, legal consultants, service provider etc)
 Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
 Excellent computer skills (including word processing, PowerPoint, excel, office and all Microsoft packages, Ghost Convey, Search works)
 Good written and verbal communication skills
 In-depth knowledge of laws and legal processes of firms’ core business
 Well balanced knowledge on all aspects of law, including labour law, administrative law and consumer laws would be an added advantage
 Legal drafting and vetting skills
 Accuracy in preparing legal documentation
 High effective communication skills- both written and verbal
Additional Skills
 Strong decision making and problem solving skills
 Ability to think dynamically
 Maturity and ability to understand and comply with a high level of ethics and confidentiality
 Ability to work independently with no supervision
 Strong leadership and management skills
 Good planning and organisation skills
