Synopsis

Our client is a large law firm in Sandton looking for a Senior HR practitioner to lead the firm’s Human Resources function and drive their people agenda.


Minimum Requirements

* 10+ years relevant experience ideally in a medium or large professional services firm, and, more particularly, a corporate law firm. T
* An intimate understanding of and demonstrable enthusiasm for addressing the challenges of bringing about transformation within the corporate legal sector in South African.
* A track record of having made an impact in their previous roles in this respect would be an enormous advantage.
* Experience managing a team is essential as is having operated at a senior level, interacting and supporting executive management, and interacting regularly with the firm’s partners and leadership in executing the firm’s strategy


Role Description

Duties:
* Take full accountability for the National HR portfolio and will be will work closely with the Leadership in the design and implementation of their HR Strategy.
* Roll out of all HR projects and initiatives.
* As a partner to the business, the Head of HR will guide and coach the Firm’s Partners and Executive Committee on people related matters.
* Management and development of the HR Team, ensuring delivery of a seamless, client-centred HR service to the business.
* Will also be expected to focus on the continuous development and refinement of the Firm’s HR philosophy, systems and processes to ensure alignment with the business strategy and industry best practice.
