Our client, a very successful and leading international law firm is looking to hire a Knowledge Manager with at least 3 years experience working in the field of law.

The successful candidate needs to have a excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Minimum Requirements


BBibl or equivalent, or degree with diploma in information science;
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a South African law firm;
A legal qualification is advantageous;
Experience with Microsoft Office and with electronic legal resources;
High organisational competence and ability to prioritise;
Ability to work independently and to set goals within the mission, vision and values of the firm.

Role Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Information resources management, including good working relationships with suppliers;
Reference and research support for practitioners, including assistance in the development of their research skills;
Fiscal control with regard to the budget;
Online content management on the Intranet and in other databases;
Knowledge projects, including assistance with the development of the corporate archive;
Global integration, including interaction with Canadian knowledge managers on matters of mutual interest.
