Our client, a niche law firm based in Umhlanga is looking for a Senior Associate to join their team in the Corporate Commercial Department.

Minimum Requirements

• Admitted attorney with 4 - 6 years post admission experience in within a general or specialized Corporate Commercial practice
• LLB degree with a solid academic transcript
• Demonstrable corporate transactional experience, including:

• equity capital markets
• BEE transaction
• Private Acquisitions
• public take overs

• Experience in cross-border work will be advantageous.

Role Description

• Drafting legal documents, including opinions, memoranda,
• Drafting commercial agreements and other transaction related ancillary documents and agreements
• Drafting and lodging documentation for registration of companies and trusts
• Drafting resolutions of shareholders and directors of both public and private companies
• Furnishing legal opinions and advice on various areas of the law within the Corporate Commercial environment
• Attending to consultations with clients
• Attending to research
