Our client, a reputable medium sized law firm, is looking to employ an Associate with general litigation, public sector and employment law experience to join their firm.

Minimum Requirements


Law Degree required


Candidates with 2 – 4 years post admission experience in employment law and litigation will be considered.
Admitted Attorney with appropriate certifications

Possess extensive legal knowledge in employment law

Ability to manage several matters simultaneously

Understanding confidentiality requirements

Ability to work independently and collaborate with others

Must have previous experience working independently or with minimal supervision

Demonstrate ability to gain the trust and credibility of leadership

Role Description

Provide Legal Support:

Provide legal guidance and support.
Complete extensive case-related research into relevant laws and regulations, negotiate on behalf of clients, draft and interpret contracts and legal documents, and oversee compliance to these documents. Plan and present arguments and counter-arguments in a court of law.

Maintain Client Relationships:

Creating and maintaining a good rapport with the firm’s clients is key.

Prepare Reports:

Responsible for keeping all stakeholders – from their senior colleagues to clients – abreast of the progress of a case by creating reports and communicating verbally.
