Forensics Consultant/Manager- LEGMN32310

Synopsis

A top Sandton based law firm is looking to employ a Senior Forensics Consultant and a Forensics Manager to join a team of specialists in their Forensics practice. The incumbent for this role will be required to provide clients with access to reliable, well-researched, structured and difficult-to-find evidence and information, giving an extra edge in solving complex investigations and legal problems.


Minimum Requirements

A relevant degree
Between 3 to 6 years forensic experience
A proven track record of providing exceptional service, and establishing and maintaining strong relationships
The following will be considered as an added advantage:
- Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE) / Certified Forensic Practitioner (ICFP) designation
- Experience at one of the larger forensic firms
- Broad experience across Financial Crime matters; and
Broad experience in Anti-Corruption Compliance matters


Role Description

Assess allegations and draft investigation approach
Perform Forensic Investigation into fraud and/or corruption and related acts of misconduct in accordance with standards and best practice;
Project manage and monitor project activities;
Quality review deliverables;
When required, present evidence in court and for disciplinary hearings
Assist with proactive forensic client solutions to detect and prevent acts of misconduct such as fraud
Assist in performing Anti-Corruption due diligence and risk assessments
Draft proposals for clients that will be applied to solve the problem
Draft and submit comprehensive forensic reports
Liaise with the criminal justice authorities
Liaise with clients
