Litigation Secretary (Sandton)


A Prestigious Law Firm in Sandton is looking for a Litigation Secretary to work in their Litigation Pro Bono Team for 3 Directors.

Minimum Requirements

Matric Essential
Excellent Knowledge of MS Word programmes (more specifically MS Word 2010 and Excel)
Knowledge of Aderant Expert (CMS) accounting system
Knowledge of Filesite
Secretarial Diploma/ Legal Secretary/ Paralegal qualification (advantageous)
At least 1 year post-matric work experience (preferably from a Law Firm)

Role Description

Preparing routine Correspondence, Reports and Memorandums
Maintaining and Organising a Filing System
Co-ordinating Internal and External Meetings for clients
Recording Telephonic Messages and Screening Telephonic clients
Preparing Minutes from Meetings
Preparing Quarterly Reports
Updating Client Database for Pro Bono Department
Capturing Time Sheets on CMS
Billing/ generating Invoices
Opening Client Files and archiving
Maintaining Stationary supplies and co-ordinating deliveries
Assisting with photocopying, printing and postage
Liaising with Clients
