Synopsis

Our client is an International Mining Group- a London Stock Exchange listed, globally diversified natural resources company that require a Risk, Compliance & Assurance to join their team.


Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Law
Mining business environment experience or preferably manufacturing background
Membership with accredited Financial body such as SAICA / ACCA
Proficiency in ERP (SAP) and Microsoft office applications
Additional qualifications in fields advantage


Role Description

Internal Audit:

Ensure Compliance to Group Policies and procedures and develop internal check to monitor the same.
Work with the various Process Owners to ensure continued buy in and deal with any frustrations that inevitably arise.


Risk Management:

Advise Management of the potential risk affecting the business and stake holder.
Monitor and Manage Entity risk management framework and ensure regular review and action to mitigate
Ensure compliance to Audit and Board Charter, Companies Act , King-III and other local regulatory requirements
Preparation of Month end compliance report and ELCM Champion
Support – support for other Finance members in event of absence/leave
Display a broad knowledge and experience in compliance, finance, reporting and fiduciary concepts.
Possess excellent organizational skills.
Embrace a continuous improvement (CI) and knowledge management philosophies.


Company Secretarial and Assurance :

Maintain necessary structures to support on-going operation of Audit and Board Committee including consolidating Audit and Board pack and liaising with Sub committee
Accurate recording of Audit and Board Meeting minutes and finalising the action from the minutes.
