Synopsis

Our client is the largest private professional services network in the world and they are looking for a Senior Employment Lawyer to join their team.


Minimum Requirements

Required
Admitted and enrolled Attorney
7 years’ post articles consulting experience with deep skills in employment law and related workforce management services
AA candidates only

Preferred
LLB Degree with 7 to 9 years post articles experience in Employment Law
10 years in a client service role, with 7 of these in a senior management role


Role Description

Main Purpose of Job
To lead the Service / Business Area through driving and implementation of strategy, revenue generation and business growth, as well as establishing strong leadership brand and inspire followership through passion, integrity and appreciation of others

• The position would suit someone who is able to work in a multi-disciplinary team and wants to deliver all-encompassing solutions to clients (working with immigration, tax, legal and consulting colleagues) in relation to workforce issues
• Ability to work across jurisdictions with our other Legal offices and our alliance partners
• Advising on, amongst other things, employment law issues arising in sales of business, group reorganisations, large scale retrenchments
• Drafting of employment contracts (including for senior employees) and related documents and policies
• Drafting of legal opinions
• Resolving disputes in the workplace
• Advising employers on their rights and obligations
