Trademark Recordal / IP Secretary 3 – Pretoria

A Large leading law firm in Pretoria is looking for a strong individual who has strong administrative skills and Trademark Recordal / Patent experience to join their fast growing team.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Opening files
  • Downloading of documents from a WIPO System
  • Preparing Patent and design cases for filing in African countries
  • Updating of all standard letters and Memoranda
  • Preparing invoices
  • Typing of general correspondence
  • All local and foreign filings (to overseas associates), billing on Patricia, running reports on Patricia
  • Attending to daily diary management
  • National Phase filing, liaising with foreign agents
  • Processing payment requisitions & official fees for foreign agents / registries
  • Dictation and typing of general correspondence and documents
  • General administrative duties e.g. faxing, photocopying, emailing, etc
  • Receiving and interpreting clients instructions and opening, updating and reviewing standing instructions
  • To carry out any ad hoc duties that support the job function
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Matric
  • Secretarial or Legal Secretarial Diploma advantage 
  • ± 3 - 4 yrs secretarial experience
  • Typing speed of 60 + wpm
  • Computer literate on MS office 
  • A person who can think logically and meticulous
  • Ability to prioritise and to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work accurately
  • Ability to work independently

 

Package & Remuneration

R24 000 per month
