Director - Employment/Labour Practice

Role Description

Our client, a boutique law firm based in Johannesburg, has a vacancy in their Employment/Labour Practice area

 

Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate should have experience in Employment Law, in particular Labour Court litigation including running a practice, supervising, and mentoring subordinates, drafting pleadings including urgent applications, Labour Court appearances, section 189 processes, section 197 processes, collective labour law, managing a review practice, opinion work, advising on disciplinary processes etc. 

 

Requirements 

 

  • LLB
  • Admitted Attorney
  • 8-10 years post admission experience
  • Client base preferable
  • HDSA candidate preferable

 

Remuneration:

  • Market Related Salary
  • Current incentive allows directors to bi-annually earn between 20 and 30 percent of fees billed over and above agreed monthly targets.
