Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior attorneys in M&A transactions, corporate restructures and commercial matters.

• Conduct legal research, prepare due diligence reports, and draft commercial agreements and transactional documents.

• Attend client consultations and negotiations, providing proactive legal support.

• Contribute to business development and strengthen client relationships.

• Stay abreast of corporate law, company regulations, and evolving market trends.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Requirements

• LLB degree and Admitted Attorney in South Africa.

• 1-2 years’ post-articles experience in Corporate Commercial and/or M&A law at a reputable firm.

• Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.

• Confident communicator, team player and detail-oriented professional.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research platforms.
